6.0/10

I had a great time at Park Plaza Resort, enjoying the convenience of its location close to the slopes and local dining. The staff was exceptionally friendly and made me feel welcome throughout my stay. However, I did notice that the unit I stayed in could use some updating, particularly in the kitchen appliances and sofa comfort.

Rooms
6.0
The Queen Suite I stayed in was clean and comfortable, but I found some aspects lacking. The kitchen appliances felt outdated, and the sofa was quite uncomfortable. Overall, it was a decent space, but there’s room for improvement.
Service
9.0
The staff here are genuinely helpful and attentive. They reached out each day to ensure I was comfortable. I appreciated their friendliness, especially when accommodating my requests.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location was perfect for my needs, as it was a short drive to the slopes and downtown. I loved being close to great dining options and having access to free shuttle services was a fantastic bonus.
Dining
5.0
I found the breakfast options to be quite basic, mostly grocery store pastries and fruit. While it didn’t meet my expectations for variety, I didn’t mind since I was aware of the price point going in.
Facilities
6.0
The amenities, including the pool area, were under renovation during my stay. Even though that was disappointing, I did appreciate the complimentary coffee and snacks available in the lobby.

5.8/10

My experience at Park Plaza Resort was mostly enjoyable, with standout moments like the friendly staff and cozy accommodations. I appreciated the complimentary breakfast and themed events that added a fun touch to my stay. However, the ongoing renovations did create some discomfort due to dust and noise. Overall, I would rate my stay positively but with a few considerations due to these issues.

The Queen Suite I stayed in was spacious and had a fully-equipped kitchen, along with a cozy fireplace. The bed was comfortable, though it was a bit too close to the wall for my liking.

Dining
7.0
I loved the complimentary breakfast on Sundays and the fun evening events like wine and cheese night. However, I wished the dining options at the hotel were a bit more varied.
Facilities

Facilities like the pool and gym were enjoyable, though the pool was under renovation during my stay. The underground parking was a significant plus, and I had access to a nearby sports club.

5.6/10

My stay at Park Plaza Resort was a mix of enjoyable and frustrating moments. The location was fantastic, so close to the slopes and the free shuttle made it easy to get around without needing a car. The room itself was clean and cozy with a nice kitchenette, but we did face some issues with noise from the elevator and a thermostat that couldn't be adjusted below 68 degrees. While the staff were friendly, I was hoping for better management follow-up regarding the noise complaints.

Rooms
6.0
The room was clean and equipped with a kitchenette, but the noise from the elevator was disruptive and the thermostat issues were frustrating.
Service
6.0
While the staff were friendly and helpful, my feedback regarding the noise was met with excuses rather than resolution.
Location
10.0
The location is a major plus, right across from the Park City transit stop, making it easy to get to all the skiing and downtown attractions.
Dining
5.0
The provided breakfast was very basic, just pastries and fruit, which didn’t meet my expectations for a good start to the day.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel offers convenient amenities, but there were some maintenance areas that need attention, especially the carpets in some rooms.

My stay at Park Plaza Resort was mostly enjoyable, with warm staff and a great location near the slopes. However, the lack of functioning facilities like the pool and issues with the elevator impacted my experience. Overall, I found the accommodations clean and spacious, but there were some hiccups during my stay that could be improved upon.

Location
9.0
The location is excellent, just minutes from the slopes and downtown attractions. Access to free shuttles made it easy to get around, which I appreciated.
Dining
6.0
While the Sunday Continental breakfast was quite limited, I enjoyed the themed dinners, particularly the margarita night with tasty drinks. More variety at breakfast would be nice.
Facilities

Although the pool was under renovation and not available during my stay, the hot tub was enjoyable when operational. I think communication about facility availability could be improved.

6.8/10

My stay at Park Plaza Resort was pleasant overall, featuring friendly service and the convenience of a full kitchen in my studio. However, I was disappointed that the pool and spa were closed for renovations, which limited some recreational options. While the resort staff tried to make our experience better, the noise from other guests in close proximity was an unfortunate downside.

Rooms
6.0
The studio was spacious and equipped with a full kitchen, providing a comfortable environment for my stay. However, I encountered issues with noise from neighboring rooms, which affected my relaxation.
Service
8.0
The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, always doing their best to accommodate my needs. They even offered gym passes to a nearby facility due to the pool renovations, which was appreciated.
Location
8.0
The location was great, allowing easy access to outdoor activities like biking and hiking, and the free shuttle service was very handy for getting around Park City.
Dining
6.0
Although dining options on-site were limited, the resort provided a cozy space to grab a snack and coffee, which was a nice touch during my stay.
Facilities
5.0
While the upcoming renovations promise enhancements, the ongoing work made some areas less pleasant, especially due to noise and chemical fumes during the day.
